George Sergent

The surname appears to have changed from Sargent to Serjent/Sergent after the family move to Norwich (there was a family rumour that it was done to escape bad debts).

• Census, 31 Mar 1901, 79 Prospect Hill, Leicester, Leicestershire. Listed as a Tailors Cutter.

• Census, 2 Apr 1911, 79 Prospect Hill, Leicester, Leicestershire. Listed as: Age 34; Occupation - Tailors Cutter.

George married Milly Jane Large, daughter of Charles S. Large and Jane Pease, in 1898 in Norwich, Norfolk. (Milly Jane Large was born in 1877 in Norwich, Norfolk.)
