Private Albert Parker No.38038 served with the 1st Battalion of the Lincolnshire Regiment in France & Flanders.
From the date of his death and the unit he was in he almost certainly died at the 2nd Battle of Ypres (Passchendaele) which began at 5.40 am on 26th October 1917.
He is commemated on The Tyne Cot Memorial one of four memorials to the missing in Belgian Flanders which cover the area known as the Ypres Salient.
Albert married Harriet Annie Barnwell, daughter of James John Barnwell and Eleanor Mary Turner, Sep Qtr 1915 in Leicester, Leicestershire. (Harriet Annie Barnwell was born on 26 Jul 1892 in 34 Gordon St, St Margaret's, Leicester.)
