This is the Last Will and Testament of me William Barnwell of Thurlaston in the Parish of Dunchurch, in the County of Warwick, farmer. I will and direct that my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses shall be paid by my Executors hereinafter named. I give and devise all that my messuage or tenement with the Garden, Yard and appurtenencies thereto belonging situate at Thurlaston aforesaid now in the occupation of John Ivens unto my daughter Mary Barnwell for and during her natural life and from and immediately after her decease I give and devise the said hereditaments and premises unto my sons William Barnwell and Richard Barnwell their heirs and assigned for ever as Tenants in common and not as joint Tenants. I give and bequeath unto my daughters Ann Truslove Wife of John Truslove and Sarah Downing Wife of James Downing the sum of three hundred pounds apiece. I give and bequeath unto my son in law John Ivens the sum of two hundred pounds which he owes me on bond, also all interest due thereon. I also give and bequeath unto the said John Ivens as much money as with the said principal sum of two hundred pounds and what interest may be due on the same two hundred pounds will make up the sum of three hundred pounds all which securities I direct to be paid at the end of twelve months next after my decease. I give and bequeath unto my said daughter Mary Barnwell the sum of five hundred pounds and all interest due thereon and secured to me by mortgage of ---- Rileys House and Sand at Thurlaston. I give and bequeath unto my said daughter Mary Barnwell the whole of the furniture (except the plate and china) in the parlour and the room over it in my house wherein I now live and also such of my beds and bedding, china, linen and plate as my said daughter shall choose for her use. I give and bequeath the possession and tenant right of my farm Sands and premises at Thurlaston unto my said sons William Barnwell and Richard Barnwell. I give and bequeath unto my said sons William Barnwell and Richard Barnwell their ------ and administrators all my household goods and furniture, plate, china and linen (except such part thereof as my said daughter shall choose for her use), stock of cattle, corn, grain, hay, implements of all kinds, debts owing to me and all other my effects and personal estate and lastly I appoint my said sons William Barnwell and Richard Barnwell joint Executors of this my will, hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty fourth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and thirty two. Wm Barnwell (seal) signed, sealed, published and declared by the said William Barnwell as and for this last Will and Testament in the prescence of us who in his prescence at his request and in the prescence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses. Proved at London 31st August 1837 before the Judge by the Oaths of William Barnwell and Richard Barnwell the sons, the Executors to whom Admon was granted having been first sworn by common duty to Administrator.
