Charles Russell

Charles is described as a farmer in Watton in the 1841 census, and as having been born in Norfolk. It appears that he went to London as a young man and married there, later returning to Norfolk with his two children William Farrer and Jane, perhaps following the death of his first wife. He was married a second time, to Martha Fuller, in Watton in 1830.

Charles married Jane Farrer, daughter of John Farrer and Martha Goose, in 1805 in London. (Jane Farrer was born in 1772 in Little Cressingham, Norfolk, christened on 12 Jan 1772 in St Andrew's, Little Cressingham, Norfolk and died in 1829 in Little Cressingham, Norfolk.)
