George married Maria Barron, daughter of Isaac Barron and Elizabeth Hunt, on 3 Sep 1840 in Osbourne Street Chapel, Hull, Yorkshire. (Maria Barron was born about 1817 in Scotton, Lincolnshire, christened on 12 Jul 1817 in Scotton, Lincolnshire and died in 1842 in Kingston-Upon-Hull, Yorkshire.)
