Names spelt a variety of ways as people could not read or write so well. So Reuben sometimes Rubin, Ruben and Reubin for example. Maybe born as early as 1713 or as late as 1720 according to two records and born possibly at Wooton, Lincs.

Reuben married Elizabeth Scorfield, daughter of William Scorfield and Elizabeth, on 21 Feb 1740 in Wrawby-Cum-Brigg, Lincolnshire.
