John married Mary Farrer, daughter of John Farrer and Mary Gibson, on 12 Oct 1818 in Carbrooke, Norfolk. (Mary Farrer was born in 1799 in Shipdham, Norfolk, christened on 31 Aug 1799 in All Saints, Shipdham, Norfolk, died in 1876 and was buried on 11 Jul 1876 in St Peter & St Paul, Carbrooke, Norfolk.)
