According to the 1891 Census Robert has died but Susannah 88 is living in Burnt Street, Wells with her widowed daughter Elizabeth Large, and is receiving Parish Relief.

• Census, 2 Apr 1871, High Street, Wells Next The Sea, Norfolk. Listed as: Age 68.

• Census, 3 Apr 1881, High Street, Wells Next The Sea, Norfolk. Listed as: Age 78.

• Census, 5 Apr 1891, Burnt Street, Wells Next Sea, Norfolk. Listed as: Widow; Age 88.

Susanna married Robert Groom, son of John Groom and Elizabeth Allison, on 22 Jul 1822 in Parish Church, Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk. (Robert Groom was born in May 1799 in Holkham, Norfolk, christened on 30 May 1799 in Holkham, Norfolk and died in 1885 in Walsingham, Norfolk.)

  Marriage Notes:

At the marriage of Robert and Susannah the witnesses were Robert's brother Thomas Groom, Susannah's sister and future wife of Thomas Sarah Leech, and a Robert Skeet. Robert R. Skeet b.1786 in Wells and at the time of this marriage was the Parish Clerk.
